Jeff Chenoweth
Project Manager
NW Natural
Jeff Chenoweth is a Project Manager for the Information Services department of NW Natural. In his eight years with this Local Distribution Company, Jeff has been involved with the implementation of many large technology projects supporting NW Natural’s financial, human resource, work management, asset management and associated technology infrastructure, database and middleware products. Jeff’s past projects include Lawson Financial Suite, PeopleSoft 8.0 HR Suite, WMIS Work Management, PowerPlant Asset Management and served as IT lead for two years supporting Sarbanes Oxley compliance initiatives.

Currently, Jeff is working on the second phase of a two-year implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 for replacement of most major systems. He served as IT Lead for SAP FI/CO/SCM with supporting BI/IP in phase one (completed Dec 07), and is currently acting as IT Architect and PM Workstream Lead for phase two implementation of SAP EAM and HCM (scheduled for go-live in January 09).

Sue Daulton
Management Analysis

Sue Daulton has over 25 years of utility experience and currently leads several customer service efforts for Tacoma Public Utilities. Her prior responsibilities have included the implementation of CCS for Tacoma’s multiservice utility and participation in the creation of a new IT support center. In 2006, Sue was recognized by ASUG as an Impact Award winner. In 2007, she was recognized by SAP with the Award for Innovation in Customer Services for Utilities. Sue’s previous positions include IT Manager for the legacy CIS Team, and Operations Manager for Customer Service’s call center, billing, payment processing, and credit and collections.

Bob Haverkamp
Project Manager
Southern California Edison
Bob Haverkamp has 37 years of technical and project management experience in the electric utility industry. His career has included startup testing and maintenance of electric distribution substations and switchyards, startup testing at fossil and nuclear power generation stations, and project management of plant modifications and IT projects. Bob was also a technical integration lead in Southern California Edison’s SAP implementation. Currently, Bob is the Generation Business Process Manager in SCE’s ERP Center for Continuous Improvement. He also co-leads the SAP Nuclear Council (a strategic influence and benchmarking forum) in partnership with the SAP Utility Industry Principal.

Stan Hilderman
SAP Support Functional Team Lead
SaskPower
Stan Hilderman has been employed by SaskPower for 34 years. For 24 of those years, Stan gained experience in Electrical Transmission and Distribution by working as a Lineman, Construction Supervisor and Operations Supervisor. For the other 10 years, Stan worked directly with SAP. For three of those years, Stan worked full time in SaskPower’s SAP Projects delivery area as a Team Lead implementing new SAP EAM functionality.

Currently, Stan is the Functional Team Lead of SaskPower’s SAP Support Group working in the following Enterprise Asset Management areas: Plant Maintenance, Capacity Planning, Document Management, Service Management and Cad Integration. He plans and schedules the work for the team, supports the Enterprise Asset Management and Document Management areas of SAP, and is part of the implementation team for CRM 2007.

Mike McGinity
Manager, SAP Application Management
Reliant Energy
Mike McGinity has 27 years of utility industry experience. For the last ten years, Mike has been implementing, supporting and upgrading SAP EAM, Project Systems, Enterprise Portal, Materials Management, BW/BI and SRM. Currently he serves as a Business Integration Manager for Reliant Energy and serves as a liaison between Plant Operations and Information Technology.  Mike also works closely with the business unit staff to identify and address opportunities to improve operations and maintenance results through the application of existing and new Information Technology tools.

In 2006, Reliant Energy started outsourcing day-to-day support of its SAP systems. Mike oversees the team supporting SAP EAM, purchasing and logistics functionality.

Diane Morehouse
IT Client Advocate
NB Power
Diane Morehouse has worked for New Brunswick Power for 19 years. For the past 11 years, she has worked specifically in the SAP arena and has gained experience in CCS, Finance, Plant Maintenance and Business Warehouse. Diane serves as an SAP advisor and ASUG guru for NB Power. She is also a veteran to the ASUG community and has served as a volunteer from the Utilities group since 2002. Previously, Diane has held the Chairman position for the Atlantic Canadian Chapter. She is also a proud ASUG Service Award recipient, nominated by her peers for her passion and dedication to ASUG.

Stephen Roche PE

Steve Roche is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He started his career in Nuclear Power Plant Design Engineering and construction with Bechtel. While with Bechtel, Steve assisted in the construction and startup of PSEG’s Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station. In 1988, he joined PSEG’s Nuclear Engineering group. In 1997, Steve began his journey with SAP as part of PSEG’s Nuclear SAP implementation team where he served as the business lead for the implementation. Since completing the first ever comprehensive SAP implementation at a US Nuclear facility, Steve has served as the SAP Business Lead at Public Service Enterprise Group’s (PSEG) three unit Nuclear Generating site.

Currently, Steve is the Director of PSEG’s Enterprise SAP Center of Excellence. The COE team trains, educates, configures and develops core process solutions for key business processes and has overall management accountability for PSEG’s SAP solutions.  PSEG is a large publicly traded utility company based in New Jersey.  Its companies include PSEG Power LLC and Public Service Electric & Gas (Gas & Electric Delivery).  PSEG has used SAP as its core Enterprise Application since 1998.

Joel Thompson
Director — Maintenance & Asset Management
Fairfax Water
After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Engineering, Joel Thompson worked at three water/wastewater utilities and has managed eight different plants. Joel was intimately involved with automating the plants with the latest process control technology and was instrumental in developing in-house expertise in this area.  He served on the Enterprise Asset Management Team for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and is doing the same now, for Fairfax Water.  Joel also holds the position of Production Director for Fairfax Water with the responsibility for operation and maintenance of the treatment plants and for instrumentation and systems control.
