Anthony Bosco, Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer,
Day & Zimmermann
Anthony Bosco is the senior vice president and CIO for Day & Zimmermann, the 53rd largest privately held, family-owned business in the United States, with headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company has 25,000 employees providing industrial, defense and workforce solutions to commercial and government customers, and was founded in 1901.
Anthony is responsible for Day & Zimmermann’s Information Technology organization, and is charged with establishing greater efficiency, productivity, and competitive advantage by having technology-enable business process improvements and innovation. He is also a member of Day & Zimmermann’s Leadership Council.
During his 30 years with the company, Anthony has held a series of progressively responsible staff and line roles. These include vice president and treasurer, project controls manager for a number of construction projects, project manager, and vice president corporate planning.
Anthony was responsible for successfully implementing the SAP Business Suite, the single largest resource and technology investment ever made by Day & Zimmermann.
He serves on the Board of Directors for ASUG and as of May 2010, will be Chairman. Anthony holds a B.S. degree in accounting and computing from LaSalle University.
