SAP Business Process Management for Utilities

SAP's Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rules Management (BRM) are next generation solutions that allow organizations to improve the efficiency and flexibility of their business processes. In this workshop, we will focus on understanding how BPM maximizes how utilities operate, supporting a process-driven methodology vs. a functionally-driven approach. We'll look at how SAP BPM and BRM solutions can help automate utility-specific processes, such as grid maintenance and enhancement, new service connection, customer move and outage incidents. We'll review the methodology and approach to successfully implement BPM. Lastly, this workshop will demonstrate how SAP BPM and BRM solutions allow customers to leverage the investment in their SOA strategy and how they are fully integrated into the SAP development framework.
